an very easy crochet pattern for a man's scarf without too much fuzz or fuss on it.

Sheri,  The yarn will do more for the fuzziness over the pattern.

The easiest I can think of is to chain about 15-20 and then double crochet until you get the length you want.

Well just something that is not all that fluffly.  A basic acrylic would work for a nice scarf that is not fuzzy.
