Tonya, your "unstuffed cabbage" sounds terrific!
I love cabbage rolls, but we call them Golabki.
I haven't decided about dinner tonight, it really depends on whether they cancel school today, and, if so, what time the do it.

Tonight we are making homemade pizzas, I have the dough rising now. Each of the kids will get their own personal sized crust and then they will get the toppings they want. It will be a lot of fun, we try to do this every couple of months.

I had chicken liver sandwiches with grape jelly, corn on the cob, plus a baked potato with broccoli and califlower on top smothered with cheese sauce. Yummy!!!

Tonight we had penne, chicken, and pesto. Kinda like chicken alfredo with pesto on penne. It was real good. I was sick this weekend and didn't eat hardly anything and now I can't even eat a full plate of food! It
almost
seems unfair to not eat more of something so good. But, hey, it's probably a much healthier portion size!!

A friend had given me 12 fresh Filet Mignons for Christmas, and I packaged them up for the freezer. Well, since this was Fat Tuesday, I took one out before I went to school and grilled it (medium-rare) when I got home. Then I made a spinach salad, sauteed mushrooms and twice-baked potato to complete the meal.

Hey, Tonya, you sitting on a goldmine right now with all those eggs.
I really can't believe how much the price eggs have jumped up recently.
Geesh,. if you have that many eggs bread pudding is always a great idea! It may not be a side dish, but it's good for dessert, and I used to give it my kids for breakfast. Well, it had plenty of eggs, bread, milk and butter in it, so what more could you want. Geesh, even now, whenever I make it, I will have it for breakfast the next morning with a warm lemon sauce poured over it!
My recipe is not stiff like some of the bread pudding I've had, it's a lot more like custard with toasted bread cubes in it.
Of course, I also have a recipe for the Jack Daniel's Sauce to pour over it.
Actually, it's very tasty, but I wouldn't suggest eating it the morning (or serving it to kids).

Tonight we're having Mexican Shredded pork on basamti rice, with green beans and a fresh, warm peach cobbler made with peaches I got from a farm this summer and froze. Oh and if that isn't bad enough for my hips, gotta make mine a la mode! Nothin' better than Blue Bell Homemade Vanilla.

Tonight it's going to be Shrimp and Chicken Stir-Fry over rice. Yesterday, I got a great buy on shrimp because Lent is starting, so I should be able to get my fill of seafood for a little while during Lent.
