Rain here too. Rain last night followed by rain this morning, leading to rain this afternoon and tonight. 100% chance of rain forecast..... and a flood watch. The stream doesn't look too high yet.

Rain here as well but not as much as all of you.  It is in the forecast for the next week though.

We are all under the same stars, therefore we are never far apart.

80* here today with the wind blowing pretty good.  Accuweather says 23 mph but I bet my weather station says 10.  I need to move the wind sensor.  Anyway we are supposed to have a cold front move through tonight with some possible thunder storms and wind.  Tomorrow's high is forecast to be 70*.  Hopefully if we get rain tonight it will be less that .5 inch.

Well, the rain has stopped and they removed the pump this evening, but many are not as fortunate.  :smileyNo:  One of the rivers (I think it's the Meramac) in the St. Louis area is 25' above flood stage and it hasn't even crested yet.  :yikes:  The Mississippi is expected to rise above flood stage after midnight tonight and crest near 33.5' by Friday morning, but drop back below flood stage by Sunday morning.  I just feel so sorry for all of these people who are suffering from these floods, :Crybaby: but, at least, they have shelters set up where they can go.  Some places received over a foot of rain during these storms, but they said we only got about 5 inches.  It's still very wet here and that's going to limit some of my yard work, but I thank God that's my only problem because things could certainly be a lot worse.   :SmileyNailbiting:

3"-4" inches of snow fell during the night but the sun was out this morning and thawed it all, then we had 3 10 minute hail storms this afternoon, now it's windy and raining....

Think I'll give the garden another miss this weekend!

Well, it looks like not many people around here will be wearing their new Easter outfits, but I guess that's to be expected with Easter being so early this year!   The temperature here is 38 right now, but it's going down to freezing tonight.  :SmileyFit: It's no fun hunting for Easter eggs when it's this cold.  :smileyNo:

It is SNOWING here... big huge flakes.  I am so shocked.  I kinda hope it keeps up this way.  Nice to look at.  And the wierd thing is it is not super cold out, only 38.  I know it will not stick around long.

It's raining again!!!  :SmileyFit:   We're under a severe thunderstorm warning with the possibility of hail as large as golf balls.  :yikes:  I don't know were all this water is going to go.  :dunno:  Temperature is 46 degrees!

We are supposed to get to 84* today, with some clouds.  More clouds tomorrow with 30% chance of rain.  High tomorrow is supposed to be 75*, low of 50*.  Hopefully we will have scattered showers tomorrow and Sunday so I can get a bit more done in the garden.  It won't be long before I will need to finish up with the tiller and get the mower back on the tractor.

Today's weather has been very irritating.  It is cloudy, with a very sharp north wind, and only about 40*.  All this after almost 2 weeks of gloriously warm, albeit windy, weather.  Mother nature is taunting all Kansas gardeners!

It's 36 degrees right now, but, at least, there was no rain today!  Of course, there's more predicted for Saturday, Sunday and Monday!  :SmileyFit:  Geesh, pretty soon I may be able to post something in the Pond thread!!!   :rofl1:

Oh, geesh, we've had a ton of rain here today and some tornado and thunderstorm warnings.  :yikes: The sirens went off here about 4:00 and the sky was pretty scary for a while.   :SmileyFear:  I went to the basement, no sense taking any chances. The Cardinals opening game got postponed until tomorrow night.   :Crybaby2:  On a brighter note, I now have four new water features in my back yard, three new ponds and a birdbath which is surrounded by a moat.  I'm afraid to look at the front yard.  :scaredy:

Geesh, I don't know why I even bother to come here!  :ScratchHead:  There's no breaking news, just the same old thing.  It's 45 degrees here and it rained last night, it was raining this morning when I got up and we've got thunderstorms coming later today!!!    :SmileyFit:

Sorry to hear that your weather is still awful Patti, ours is slowly getting there, its been sunny most of the week, except for the storm on Tuesday and its sunny today, calling for rain again tomorrow, but thats ok, it'll help clean up the lawns, and the snow is just about gone here too,

It is 61* here. I want my 80-something weather back! It's been sprinkling rain all day. Sure hope it dries up and gets warmer tomorrow (for you, too, Patti!)...

80 here today with high winds that has blown power wires across roads and big Oaks across streets rained here for about a minute calling for T-Storms hail high winds , flash flood warnings and maybe a twister or two nothing really bad I guess as long as we don't blow away or wash away. Been from 60 to 80 all week lows around 50 or so.

Well, no rain today, but it's pretty chilly and still wet!  :SmileyFit:  Definitely, not the kind of weather when you want to be out working in the yard.   :smileyNo:

Well, it's already started raining a little bit here, but we have some bad weather coming tomorrow.    :yikes:  They are predicting severe thunderstorrms with heavy rain, maybe some hail and tornadoes.   :SmileyFear:

I'm wondering how Jimmy is doing because I talked to my friend in Dallas and they were getting hit with it pretty hard tonight.  :scaredy:

This is what I woke up to this morning! :yikes: I've never seen snow on strawberry blossoms before.

It's extremely unsual for the arctic air to reach this far down into Oregon, when it "blasts" across the US/Canadian border like this.  Our Pastor said this morning that he thinks it's fun to be here for "history in the making"... but my gardens sure don't think it's very neat! :thslap:

I covered several plants, put boxes over the Peonies & brought all my winter sowing bags indoors.  Forecast says that it might last through tomorrow, then we'll get back to "normal". :rolleyes1:
