Topic: Firefox isnt cooperating

Firefox is really ticking me off.
I go to my photobucket and check a pic to make a clickable thnail. It doesnt generate a code. I go to IE and it works fine in Photobucket.
Over at Phils house some of the graphics on his site don't show, unless I go to IE then all is fine.
Garden Stew wont even let me log in if I'm on FF, again, fine on IE.
Whats going on with that?

No idea Wrennie, I am on Firefox and have not been having any problems today at all.  I have been doing graphics and stuff too.

Well I'm glad its not just me but sorry youre having a tough time with it too Annette.

One of the major things with Firefox that can cause problems is the themes.  If you are using a custom theme, try the default.  Also do you have any add-ons installed?  Those two things can cause more havoc with Firefox than any other.  Also sometimes when you re-install it, it doesn't change.  That's because your profile doesn't get changed.  Anyway here is a very good site that will help you work through diagnosing the problem and fixing it.

I've been using Firefox for more than a year now and the only problem I have is sometimes the fancy BBCode's that we use in the birthday topics don't display correct.  Where I should see a moving line of letters, I sometimes get moving solid blocks.

well i went there found out how to clear my FF cache and all seems well!

I've always cleared my cache through my computers control panel, didnt know ff had its own.

Wrennie, a theme is like the "background" on the board. Remember our Christmas theme?

Wrennie it you click on your Tools > Add-ons you will see a window with Extensions and Themes.  Click on Themes, then at the bottom right of the window click on Get Themes.  That will take you to a web page that has lots of Themes for FF.  Some are really cute.
