 I went to check on my pole and bush beans.
I could only see 1 pepper from the bottom of the hill.
I got madder with each step as I climbed.   Wasnt there a tomato on that corner?     Where is the other pepper? Why arent the beans up yet?


                   

They were up. Something bit them all off!!!!





Cutworms??
Birds?   Rodents?  
 


I rotenoned everything. Hope the birds were eating the cutworms. I know a rodent took a strawberry or 2, something was biting at my peas/ I've never had this much pest trouble at once before.... {{insert crying smiley here}} and now its raining!

I know how you feel.... may have to add some of your shooting smileys to the board if we are going to have to deal with these critters all year.

i'm so sorry to hear of your pest problem.  I'm lucky so far all I've had to deal with are wasps and hornets.

Wrennie, we know exactly how you feel. All that work and then something else eating your veggies/fruits can be maddening.

Oh Wrennie, how awful.  I have had my share here as well but not near to the scale as you.  Hope you can get rid of those buggers.

Next closest veggie one I know of is at least a mile away.

I redid the fence (have to get a picture) that'll keep the bunny out.But i dont think he's the culprit of whats happened so far.
I try to stay organic but {cringe} I may have to pull out the big guns. {{sigh}}

I replanted what I could, put the okra I had no room for in where the pepper was murdered. Need to fence that little garden today.

This was NOT my plan for my "weekend". {{grrrr}} But I am getting a good work out! LOL!
