I made a red velvet cake, using this recipe: http://www.recipezaar.com/8972

I had never had or even seen a red velvet cake in person before this. Wow, this is one stunning cake! Yahoo Super easy to make, and even the frosting was amazing, and I don't normally like frosting.

The cake was still calling my name after a rather big piece, so I sent it to work with Mike this morning.  laughmao No danger of him bringing any home.

The white frosting against the bright red cake is quite a sight. I'm thinking about doing one again for the 4th of July, and maybe tossing some blueberries on top.  grinnnn

yummy... that sure looks good.  Ya know you could put blueberries in between the layers as well as on top and it would just look amazing for the 4th.
