I offered some of my cukes to a woman who was wanting to can pickles this year.  In return, she brought me a ton of potatoes.  She said that her husband planted 157 mounds of potatoes -- and it's just the two of them!!

So, uhh, other than potato salad and smashed tators, what do you do with potatoes??? ScratchHead

I just googled it because I didn't know that they could be canned either. They can be frozen also. Wow I learn something new every day.

My favorite thing to do with potatoes is to dice them, add chopped onions, little smokies, top with butter and bake in the oven. I also like to add halved squash and large broccoli florets when I have them on hand. (A meal in a pan.)
