What kind of flour are you using, Triss. I haven't made any in a while, but I used brominated bread flour.

I just used regular flour for it. Nothing special.

I made this recipe again and I did it without the oil this time. I think I got a better loaf out of it that way. And because the temperatures are starting to dip in the morning I put the rising dough in the oven after turning it on 500 for 10 seconds and then turning it off.
The only thing I didn't like was the amount of rise I got. I'm thinking about trying to add alittle baking powder to the dough. Am I nuts?

Now I know I'm nuts. We're having a service auction on Thursday so I'll be making two loaves of the sour dough to take to be auctioned along with my seed stash. someone is going to get to go shopping in my personal stash of seeds for there 20 favorite seeds. I must be nuts to do this.
