Crochet Along
« on: Aug 27, 2008, 07:25:49 PM »
I got an email last night from Lion Brand Yarn... they are holding a crochet along and I decided to go ahead and participate.  I have been looking for a new design and this one is right up my alley.

Here is the link in case you want to join me in this event.  I think it would be so much fun and the pattern is easy enough for anyone who is just learning or wants to learn crochet.  Even I can read the pattern and that says a lot!

Crochet Along

And I will be showing my progress along with others at Flickr

Here is what I have done so far in working up the 3 squares.  The green is not going to be in the finished project but I do not have the 3rd yarn picked yet and wanted to work it up for the size.

Thanks Penny.  I have the first 10 blocks done in the solid blue and have moved on to the variegated ones.  I think I have 4 of them done.  I also found the 3rd color yarn I want to use and will pick that up at work on Friday.

So I am moving right along with my blocks.  I have the first ten made.  YEAH!!!!  :dancingbunny:  I was beginning to get a wee bit tired of the blue and the same pattern back and forth.  At least the other blocks will go faster.
