I have never heard of pecans in a pound cake before.  This looks sooooo good.  Is the self rising flour a must?

Aunt Bonnie said she has left the self-rising flour out before, Triss, but the consistency wasn't as good. She adds pecans to hers because she likes 'em and it really tastes good. She had me bake her one today... Roll Eyes
