Island of Roatan, Honduras

Just got back from a seven day cruise, one of the stops was on the Ilse of Roatan off the coast of Honduras, very nice place it has not become overly commercialized yet. Anyway on the trip across the island we passed several jumbled cemeteries, however I did not get any pics, I was on a bus and did not have my camera, there was one near the port but I was afraid to go back and take a pic, not knowing the local customs and quite afraid of being mugged by the locals. However if you ever get the chance they were something to see and the Island is great particularly if you are not into the typical tourist traps.

Wow, that does sound like an interesting place to visit. We have been talking about going on a cruise, but haven't made the decision to do it yet. Aunt Bonnie has been after us to do a Christmas cruise. We may just do it one of these day.
Ooops, didn't mean to hijack your topic. Do as Triss suggested and start a topic down in the Family Activities board and post some pics if you like. We love pics.

Glad you had a great vacation. Maybe I can get Jim and Dianne on a valentine cruise.
