I found a Sony RI light that will work with my JVC. Do any of you know if this will work? What types of camcorders do most of you use?
I'm assuming you mean an IR light. The best you can do is try it. If you get the light close enough to the lens it should work. Might be hard to handle if you can't figure some way of mounting it.
I have a Sony Handycam that has the NightShot. The only drawback with it is this particular model, you can't add the extended range light as a normal accessory. Ideally on some Sony models the light easily attaches and doesn't require both hands to operate.
