best camcorder to use

(1/1)

CaseParanormal2C:
Hello Everyone,  I am just getting started with "ghost hunting".  I have a JVC camcorder that has no night vision on it at all.  I found a Sony RI light that will work with my JVC.  Do any of you know if this will work?  What types of camcorders do most of you use?  I wish I had done my homework a little better, if so I would have gotton a Sony to start with.  I am not able to buy another one at this time and am just trying to find a way to make with I have work out.  Any help would be great.

Thanks,
Teresa from Gaffney

I'm assuming you mean an IR light.  The best you can do is try it.  If you get the light close enough to the lens it should work.  Might be hard to handle if you can't figure some way of mounting it.

I have a Sony Handycam that has the NightShot.  The only drawback with it is this particular model, you can't add the extended range light as a normal accessory.  Ideally on some Sony models the light easily attaches and doesn't require both hands to operate.

Try it and let us know how it works.
