You can do this or anything like it with any veggies growing in your garden and any  thin or shredded meat, cheese And dressing combo that will appeal to your family, Sarah. Any round loaf of yeast bread works well too. But hollow out a tall round a little.  This is one of the few things I like the Italian dressing on other than as a marinade. It adds a nice tang. I have turned it over twice already. Something about smashing it flat really does something for the flavor/texture blend when you bite into it.
