Faucet leaks at top of spigot

(1/3) > >>

Triss:
Oh... so I have a question that needs help.  Our kitchen sink faucet has a leak right at the top of the 90 degree angle from the body of the faucet to where the water comes out.  We turn on the water and get shot at with it.  Dan has tried to solder it with no luck and right now it is covered in black electrical tape.  Any ideas on a more permanent fix until I can get out and buy a new piece?

Tina:
Oh, those new faucets are expensive, Triss. But I don't know of an actual fix. When I tried finding a fix for a similar problem it was a huge mess. Pray the tape holds until you can afford that new faucet.
Or maybe someone else will come along with a better clue for you

Triss:
So far it is not a huge mess, just shocking when you have water in your face. :grinnnn:  You are right about the expense of a new faucet, they sure are not cheap, even the cheap ones.

Jayrod1972:
Triss have you tried JB Weld on it or that new stuff called mighty mend something to that effect?

Triss:
No, have not tried either of those.  I will have to look for them next time I head over to WM.
