2009 Seed Harvest
« on: Jul 17, 2009, 12:20:51 PM »
Well I got out there today and harvested a handful of my white wave petunias.  Of course it's a mixed bed so who knows what color they will be.  The choices are white, pink, or purple.

Earlier this year I harvested some of the Gerber daisies.  If I did it right they have a seed head just like a dandylion and each little helicopter holds a seed at the bottom.  If I didn't do it right i'll be very disappointed when I try and grow them lol.  But then that's me right?

well I found out that gerber daisies have to be planted within 20 days of harvest so mine aren't any good now.  Maybe I'll get it to bloom again and get more seeds.
