I bought one of these after I saw Emeril use one a few times. I wanted to try a recipe of his for ribs but it needed one. I found one at my wife's job and it was only $50 there plus we get 20% off.  BigGrin

I smoked some country style ribs. Very, very little smoke escaped and it wasn't enough to even turn on a fan or the stove exhaust. The ribs came out tender and smoky! I then put them on a baking sheet and brushed some BBQ sauce on them. I put them under the broiler for 2-3 minutes per side.Clean up was easy. The manual says you can steam, poach, bake, and smoke foods. Smoked salmon and sausages are awesome!!! You can also cold smoke things like cheeses, salmon, etc.
