This tastes just like the steak sauce you find in the stores.
Ingredients:1/2 cup cold water
1/4 cup raisins
1/2 cup aged balsamic vinegar
1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
1/4 cup of ketchup (catsup)
1/4 cup Dijon mustard
a pinch of cayenne pepper
1/4 tsp. black pepper
1 clove garlic, cut in half, not crushed.
How to Prepare:Combine all ingredients and whisk. Put in a saucepan over low heat and gently simmer for 15 minutes.
Strain using a fine mesh strainer into a bowl, squeezing out all of the juice.
Let cool completely before adjusting the seasonings, then salt and pepper to taste.
