Anyone know sewing machines?
« on: Sep 29, 2009, 04:27:31 PM »
I have a jc Penney free arm 'dressmaker' model 6912 catalog # 868-4102. It needs belts. I cant find a source online and am really aggravated. I can't afford to take it to a repair shop.

I found these
http://sewing-machine-parts-store.com/list.asp?subcat=Belts
Now this isn't very helpful but at the bottom of the page is a toll free # to call wherre they may be able to help you figure out which set you need. If they carry them.

or, if you call a repair shop, (an independent one, not a chain) they might can get you just the belts.  i've gotten parts for mine when i couldn't afford to have the work done.  just a thought.

Good thought. I have also picked up belts for my antique Kirby (circa1955)
