Topic: Oregon coast tsunami advisory

The National Weather Service has issued a tsunami advisory for the Oregon coast after an 8.3 magnitude earthquake hit the South Pacific.

Authorities said a mild tsunami, up to about 2 feet, could arrive along the coast at about at 10 p.m. Tuesday.

I heard about this in the waiting room at the hospital. At that time they were talking warning for Hawaii.  Anyone know of the outcome on that? Isn't Sarah still there?

She is but from what I understood Hawaii didn't get too clobbered.

Kinda of a dud on the Oregon coast, which is good thing, heard it just rose the ocean a measly 2 additional inches.

But not were earthquake/tsunami originated from, many deaths.
