Ok, for a simple salsa, you need a big can of tomato puree, a large can of petite chopped tomatoes, 3/4 bunch of cilantro, 6 stalks of green onion, 1/8 teaspoon of cumin, 2 cloves of garlic, some white pepper. add the puree to a food processor, add in the cilantro, garlic, white pepper, and 2-3 jalapeno peppers. Mix until finely chopped. Chop up the green onion, dump into a bowl with the tomato chunks and the contents of the food processor. All done.
