We watched this movie tonight and I have to admit that it is very disturbing to me.

Paranormal Activity

I don't think I would like to watch this one alone... cringe

I really think this movie spooked Dianna.  It was definitely different from most of the movies I have seen on this subject.

Yes, the entire thing is like a documentary, with Micah being the main camera man.  I guess that's what makes it so realistic.

they did.  it was all the conversation at work.  we have several film students who work in our department.

i don't want to see it.  but they compared it to the blair witch project.  only they said the technical aspects of it weren't as good.

so, i was discussing this with one of the film students yesterday, he said that the actual budget was between $11k and $15k.  then we got off on a tangent about other movies that tried and failed.  he's working on a movie that is interesting right now.  i'm hoping he'll give me a dvd of it when it is done.  he's been good to share stuff with me that he has done.

now, all that said, when you see the name "kyle steinike" in the credits on the big screen sometime, you can say "a friend of mine knew him when he was just a film student" laughmao laughmao

seriously, he's going to school to be a producer, and is working with jason sheedy (the jimmy fallon intern) on the film he's working on right now.

Trent said that a guy in one of his classes told him that he was so scared that he cried when he saw it. Trent is in the 9th grade. I guess I missed something.
