I was bringing this back up to check on the cooking temps and things. I am making these today! It has been about a year and I have dreamt about them a few times since I last had them.

Bumping this up for the season. I made these for my son a month or so ago. He was very impressed.

I'm planning to make these for our "snack day" I have all the ingredients, my question is can I make these today and then keep in fridge until Tues., then put in crock. Will they survive and entire day in between and still be good?

If you don't actually bake them until the last minute this will work.
I found that the little smokies get harder and harder when they are reheated. Not crispy but too chewy.
So wrapping the bacon and storing until Mon night or Tues morning would be best.

OK, I'll try that way then, just trying to save myself some time so I don't have to do it all Mon. night. I will wrap them when I get out of my shower. Then put in fridge until tomorrow night.

Well I'm thinking I will just do it all tomorrow. I just managed to finish getting the kitchen cleaned. And I'm tired.
