Tina, unless you've been planting like a mad woman, mad I say, you don't need anymore seeds.

But you can always dream. I actually have a lot of area that I could plant. But for me it is getting water to it that is the issue.

I got pine tree garden seeds a while ago, and burpee.

I sold burpee seeds in my store one year. End of season I had a sign that said 25% off Burpee seeds. A lady came in and asked whats a burpee seed? Like it was one specific type of seed.  giggle I shoulda told her it was to grow a burpee plant!  rofl1

I have a whole stack of catalogs now. All have pretty pictures on their covers. I am afraid to look inside.

the only seeds I plan on buying at this time are pea seeds and giant sunflower seeds.  I don't even want to look at anything else or I'll be in big trouble.

I don't know how I got on all these lists.  I don't order much from these catalogs.  I ordered some from Henry Fields last year but haven't even received a catalog from them.

I used to get them, Sheri.  Maybe they stopped sending them because I didn't buy anything. giggle

My catalogs have pretty much gone in the trash this year.  I know I have more than I can handle at this point and need to work on the landscaping probably for the next few years.  Otherwise all the soil I buy ends up in the cattle pen next door rather than in my garden.  I have a lot of retaining walls to save up for.

If I can find seeds in the store I'll buy them there rather than from a catalog this year.  I don't need that many and shipping would probably kill me.  I have never had a bunch of luck with ordering plants through the mail.

Ditto on the plants through the mail.  I'm waiting to see if the primroses and the variegated weigela survived all of this snow.  I bought them from Springhill as live plants and they didn't look all that great when I put them in the ground last fall.

I brought some dwarf gardenias and patio blueberry plants from Henry Fields and they haven't done well at all.  I gave the gardenias to my mother and I think they all ended up dying.

I try to buy everything at the local nursery.  If I can't find something then I would look in a catalog but typically it is bulbs or something.

The only one I have received is from Stark Bros. The magazine that I really like is Birds and Blooms, but that isn't a seed catalog.
