Topic: Zabrina white and purple

I have been wondering what was growning with my roses Diane has some plants like this also we both thought Hollyhocks turns out mine at least ar Purple and white Zabrina's whihc are distant cousins to Hollyhocks.

Wow, I love the purple!  You sent me some Malva Zebrina seeds last year, Jimmy... & I'm finally getting around to planting them!  I hope they're still viable, but mostly I hope they come out that color!

Are they under your rose bushes?  If so, I'm wondering if they need to be in the shade. (I hope not, cuz the only shade my yard gets is when I go out there & stand still!)

Jimmy, the seeds took & some of the flowers opened up yesterday!

     

We moved them from the seedling bed a couple weeks ago, & I see that there were a few late starters that we missed... gotta get those in with their siblings now.

Glad they did well for you I gave Diane a bunch of seed a couple of weeks ago as well as another girl at work we are getting her into the gardening bug. Still have a lot of seeds left if anyone wants any. BTW Patty you will get thousands of seeds next year you will be able to place them about anywhere. You will have a lot come up Volunteer from these this year. Gotta get my rest catch you later .
