Leftover stuffed shells.
The pavlova was a H U G E hit...people fought over the last 1/4 of it.
That recipe goes in the "keeper" file.

I think I'm fixing tomato tortellini soup from this month's taste of home. I'm a sucker for tortellini and tomato soup - so this has GOT to be good, right?

What an awful soup!! Don't try it, if you feel tempted. Major problems: it took 2 regular cans of tomato soup - but had 6 cups of milk and broth put into it. You couldn't taste the tomato part at all! And THEN it call for 1 teaspoon of basil. YUCK! Way too much basil and it gave the soup a perfumed flavor that I couldn't stomach. Bleh!

That's a bummer, Sarah. I hate when that happens with a new recipe. I always feel like it is such a waste.

Subway sounds good. We're going to Reading Night tonight at the school. They are providing (free) chili and cinnamon rolls, reading activities, and of course the book fair will be open.

Baked potato and chili form Wendys.
Cinnamon rolls and chili - odd combination.
