I made some chicken and rice soup yesterday so we could have it tonight. I might make a salad too.

I ate catfish at Cracker Barrel, with fried apples, macaroni and cheese, hush puppies, and a salad...
Fish is supposed to be healthy for you. Does being fried take away all the health benefits?
That is the only way I will eat fish...
do you like tilapia? they have great grilled tilapia.

I love chicken and rice soup, too...
Aunt Bonnie and I were talking about tilapia yesterday, Sheri. She was trying to describe it's taste to me. I don't see how anyone eats grilled fish. Isn't the inside rubbery?

Brad eats tilapia too, and he says that he taste is kind of bland, as far as fish goes.
He says that i would like it, but i know my stomach wouldnt, so i cant tell you how it tastes.

Is it a mild fish and not rubbery at all. You can grill it on the grill if you like. Sometimes I spray a pan with Pam and cook it inside on the stove. It's good.
But Cracker Barrell has good trout too. I've only had the tilapia there once but I've had the trout several times and it's always been good.

I don't like most fried fish because I think it is rubbery inside - but that may be because everyone here overcooks it. I like it baked.
I think I'm fixing fajitas for dinner. Just need to come up with some sort of marinade for the meat... Wonderin' if I have limes or not... my guess is not.

Dianna, you could do baked fish too. I think though if you only eat fried catfish say once a month then it will be ok.

If I only go to Cracker Barrel once a month, I will be good to go then, Sheri...
We had Manwich Sandwiches for supper tonight. I didn't add any salt...

Shouldn't need to Dianna. Most prepackaged foods are pretty high in sodium, even some canned veggies.. Need to start reading the labels.

I couldn't find a marinade I liked for steak fajitas, so I settled for a DiGorno's last night. I finally found a good one late last night and have my meat soaking in it. Just cilantro, lemon juice (i didn't have any limes!), and garlic.

My soft drink is only 40 mg.
You'll get there. You are wise though to check with your doc since you have a low bp problem.

I just had a couple of sausage and egg burritos with some grapes on the side. I think Jonni plans on going out and Ted had a couple of yogurts and an ensure drink.
While I ate I watched the lightning show put on by Mother Nature. Not a whole lot wrong with that.
