http://thepioneerwoman.com/cooking/2008/08/cooking-with-pastor-ryan-delicious-mexican-lasagna/

This is excellent.  I halved the recipe and it still makes enough to feed 10 people.  It filled a 9 x 13 pan plump full.  It is good but we will be eating it for days.  Next time I might make 1/3 of the recipe and put it in an 8 x 8.  unsure

This is about to come out of the oven so I can't tell you yet how it tastes but this is the easiest dessert I have ever made.  The only thing that would make it easier is if I bought it at the store.  No joke.  Simple!!

I sure don't need it to serve 20 people, but it does sound really good. Hmm. Could invite a crowd over and cook it... grinnnn

Let me know how the peach cake tastes. I love peaches... licklips

Thank you, Jessica... NewHug

The cake was fantastic!! We had it with some vanilla ice cream.

Like I said, Dianna, I cut the recipe in half but could have cut it down more.  We have lots of leftovers!! It doesn't help that Tristen wouldn't touch it.

Seriously, the easiest dessert I have ever made.  I need to stop making desserts.  It is doing nothing for my waistline. giggle

pinto beans and grilled cheese sandwiches for us tonight.

I think I'm over this cooking spell for a while.  I've cooked several days in a row and I've had it for a while.

Sheri, I do not cook every day. I cook big over a weekend or something to eat for the next few day or for the freezer for the next couple of weeks.
Tonight I have no idea what I will have but it will probably end up being either a stuffed baked potato or stuffed  pepper both from the freezer.

We are having some leftovers.  I might make cauliflower soup so that we can eat off of it this week.  Sheri, I don't cook every day either.  I make a big meal and we eat off of it for at least 2 days.  I probably make 4 different meals a week...give or take.

And what do you put on your pavlova, Sarah? I love them covered in berries or kiwi fruit or something.

Tina, this is my first pavlova...I'm going to do lemon curd and marionberries from my freezer.

I can only do pavlova when my tummy tells me it is Ok to do so. Egg whites even in a dessert can be an iffy thing. Pavlova is the national dessert of New Zealand so I have had it there a few times. And It is in my cookbooks too.
