I am snack-y tonight. I snacked on ham and romaine lettuce rolled up together, so far.

We had this.  It was yummy!  If I make this when I get home from work we end up eating so late.  So, I got this all ready last night and put it in the fridge.  When I got home tonight I put it in the oven.  I will definitely be making this again!

That looks delicious. I am having a salad again tonight. It must be getting close to spring because I am craving fresh green stuff.

It was delicious, Tina.  I can't wait to eat it tomorrow. giggle  I'm not a big salad eater.  I should start eating more of them though. When I do eat them, I douse them in dressing.

Dressing is not so good. It tastes good but it isn't always good for you. When I was trying to drop baby weight I began eating salads without. I ordered one in a French restaurant in Mexico once and they asked if I would like lime juice. I said that might be good. It was heavenly. So I still eat salads with lemon or lime sprinkled on them sometimes.

That is why me eating salads is pointless...I put too much dressing on them.  I will have to try lime juice.  That might be good.

I made some delicious blueberry pancakes for dinner.  Mmmmm, with homemade vanilla butter syrup.

I will tell you that eating salads even dripping with dressings is not pointless. Those greens still have good stuff buried under that tasty fat. Very good for you. And vegetables floating in a bowl of butter are also good for you. If that is the only way you can handle eating them then go for it sometimes.

We are having french toast tonight.  Need to use up the leftover breakfast meat from last night and it sounds yummy.

I ate chicken livers at Quincy's.

I don't use salad dressing either when I eat out.  At home I mix vinegar and olive oil with salt, pepper and parsley for the salad.

I put a roast with potatoes, carrots and gravy in the crock pot yesterday so we'll have that and slaw.  I've got my book club tonight so I"ll be eating early or way late.
