Stuck Pots

Being really brilliant, I nested some clay pots.  Now they are absolutely stuck together and I can't get them apart.  Does anyone have any ideas on how I can fix this? 

Your help would be greatly appreciated.

Sometimes wiggling them works. Maybe soak them in water? {shrug}

Maybe lubricate them with something? WD40? I have always just wiggled mine apart...

Yep....try soaking them for a few minutes in hot water, and they should seperate.

Soap might work and would clean your pots a little more, too...

Yes, keeping your pots clean is key....or try taking a few pieces of papertowel, and place between next time you go to stack them, and they shouldnt stick.

I've got bubble wrap to put between them if I ever get them apart.  I haven't discovered my WD40 yet but I know where the soap is.  I'm going to try that.  Cross your fingers for me.

These are so stuck they won't even wiggle.

The soap didn't work they are still stuck tight.

wonder if you sit them outside and see what the weather does to them.  Check a few times a day.

They are outside, and I'll definitely check them.  Hoping the soap gets in there and breaks the seal.

I read that you could put them in the freezer for a couple of hours and they would come apart real easy. I don't know if it really works, but if all else fails it might be worth a try.

Hopefully one of these tips have worked.

I know once i had some stuck together and i rolled them a few times across the grass and it helped.......good luck.

Are the pots still stuck?

The pots are stuck.  I can't try the freezer thing until I transplant the panzies I have in them somewhere else. 

I think rolling them on the ground might work for the plastic but not necessarily for the clay pots.

These were clay Tammy, i think the dirt/grit residue inside works to loosen them.

Really?  I never would have thought of that.  I'll give it a try after I transplant the panzies.
