Maybe the surrogate doesn't know?  A friend of mine was a surrogate and she never wanted to know anything about the parents.  Just wanted that paycheck.

that story is making the rounds, was even part of jay leno's monologue.  i think they are doing it for the publicity.  but what i can't figure out is what a 72 yr old would want with ANY 26 yr old, and the other way around. it's just wrong.  but beyond wrong, it's just stupid.  that 26 yr old is going to be a single parent... and that's rough enough if you have any sense, and if he's that stupid, that kid is going to end up like sheri's school children.

I saw a picture of the grandma, the grandson and the surrogate.  The surrogate said she wasn't comfortable with it at first but when she saw them together she saw how much they loved each other and it has grown on her.  People are sick and demented.
