Bank customer robbed at gunpoint while making night deposit

GUILDERLAND, N.Y. -- Guilderland police are investigating an armed robbery at the Citizens Bank on Western Avenue.

Police said a customer was robbed at gunpoint while making a deposit in the night deposit box around 10:45 p.m. Tuesday.

The suspect is described as a while male, between 5'7" and 5'9" tall, 160 lbs. He was wearing a grey ski mask, a grey hooded sweatshirt and dark jeans.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Guilderland Police Department at 356-1501.

Thank you, Wrennie. I have no info about this suspect but if I did I would turn him in. Even if it were a member of my family. This is just too bad.

Guilderland is about an hour away. Closer to Albany than here.
