Is this an azalea?

I am really hoping this is an azalea but I am not sure...

I don't know. There are different forms, maybe? My azalea bush has slightly smaller smooth edged leaves. But there are only a couple of types that will survive here (too hot, dry). So I am no expert.

Hmmm, no i dont think so either, i have an azalea, and it doesnt look like that, but like Sarah, the name is escaping me.
