The birds really enjoy our yard around here. It is starting to look like Alfred Hitchcock's movie, "The Birds". SmileyFear

Maybe it is that there is "Standing Room Only" at the bird buffet... wink5

This second picture is the buffet ready for service. Blooms are gone now...

With all the sunflowers on the menu, the birds must feel like they are in Heaven... grinnnn

Next year I am planning on planting flowers up under the sunflowers to see if the hummingbirds will enjoy the buffet, too. I just have to figure out a flower that will attract them and that won't mind sharing the spot with the sunflowers... grinnnn

You had some beautiful blooms there.  good2

What about salvia for the hummers? They would look awesome with sunflowers, and bloom for a loooong time.

I often see seeds for salvia in the seed swap.  wink5

Would salvia like the hot sun beaming down through the sunflowers on them, Sarah? Whatever gets planted under will have to like full sun... grinnnn
