Today's high was 83*. It is supposed to warm up to 90 this week though.

They just said on the news that yesterday's official high was a record breaking 98 (not including heat index). We don't normally have those kind of temps until mid to late August. Supposed to be more of the same today.

We have broken records on the other end of the scale. The coolest days on record for July. A bunch of them. I am not complaining. It has been spectacular.

currently 97 with 51% humidity and a heat index of 113.

Today's high temp was 107° (not county heat index) and high humidity was 97% (they don't give the high heat index.)

In other words.... hot  hot

it's either feast or famine it seems.  Either hot as blue blazes with no rain for weeks or it rains every day.  Right now we're in the rain cycle.  I pulled some weeds out of the flower beds this morning because they are taking things over.  Johnny called Berta, the Mexican lady who works in our yard, to do come today and she did for a while today but I'll bet it's gonna be too wet tomorrow.
