The salad was GREAT.  I used a red apple and a balsalmic vinagrette with olive oil - no raspberry.  I didn't make the grilled cheese though.  When I went to Harris Teeter to get the walnuts I smelled the rotisserie chickens and got one of those instead.  It was pretty tasty.  Don't tell barley.  I'm sure it's against the organic, whole, nutritious foods rules.  Johnny loved the salad and ate 2 helpings.

Tonight will be grilled cheese (I'm having swiss) and Johnny will have chicken and rice soup from a Campbell's can with his.  He can't think of a sandwich as a meal.

I have to say he's very impressed with me right now and I'm impressed with myself.  This is the longest every day cooking has gone on at our house in years.

I am fairly sure the rotisserie chicken is fine on the barleychown scale, Sheri. As long as wasn't basted with corn syrup.

Glad the salad worked out Sheri!  Always a plus.  I am proud of you for doing so much cooking at home!  We are all rubbing off on you.

Looking forward to recipes Ariel!

No idea what is for dinner tonight.

Sheri, I don't know why I didn't think of this sooner but the salad dressing recipe that I posted a while back would be good on that salad too.  It is yummy!  I think I will have a salad for dinner tonight.  I have Zumba so James and Tristen will more than likely eat something before I get home.

don't get too proud the mood may be passing.  All cooking and no playing makes Sheri a dull AND fat girl.

I'll look for that salad dressing Jessica.  Thanks.

I think I will make another turkey, bacon club. As long as my friends keep leaving tomatoes on my porch, I will use them.
