Yes, he did enjoy it! Even complimented.. even the "low carb" cole slaw.

ha ha.. yes.. to his wife. He is actually still rather depressed about the whole situation. That will get better though as he learns to manage it.

I am sure it is a major lifestyle change. That is hard for anyone to get used to.

BBQ short ribs in the crock pot, deviled eggs, with bread/butter/jam. Mmmmm...

I had leftover chicken and the last of the coleslaw. The kids took everything else home that might spoil.. almost. No one took the milk.

James' sister had us over for dinner tonight. We had chicken, potatoes, carrots and mushrooms and baked beans.

this isn't dinner, but it was breakfast. ellie made me a peanut butter sandwich out of the best peanut butter i've ever had. it was better than nutella. and all natural, only 4 or 5 ingredients. i can't remember exactly what all, but no added sweetener, it had peanuts, cocoa, lecithin (and not soy, don't remember what kind), and something else. it was white chocolate peanutbutter. and if i can find it, i won't ever have another pbj sandwich again. it will be all that. good stuff.

Jenn, that is my all time favorite peanut butter!! I buy it at Target or Wal-Mart. It is cheaper than buying it online. The Dark Chocolate Dreams made by them is wonderful too!!

Going to have to look for those peanut butters. The kids would love them.
Dinner last night was hamburgers and potato salad.

I think I'm going to try out a recipe for philly cheesesteak sandwiches. Probably serve potato salad and broccoli.

I agree. He is not a cook though. His idea of cooking is takeout. That would be okay too.

Yes that works as well so long as you do not have to cook unless you want to.

At the Target I shop at anyway. And Wal-Mart Supercenter. That is where I have always bought it. Dark Chocolate Dreams is yummy!! I love them both! Those are the only 2 I have tried but I want to try the others.

Last night we had little beef steaks, I'm not sure what they're called but they're about the size of the palm of your hand and have 6 in a pack, with rice and gravy.
I'm finished cooking for a while. This mood has passed.
