Good evening! Going to be canning 50 lbs of green beans this upcomming weekend and was interested in who else cans beans and if they meaning you lol add salt as well. Also curious if you add anything else ? I just add the salt then process

50 pounds of green beans? Sounds like you will be as busy as I was while canning tomatoes...
I haven't canned any beans or peas yet. I have been freezing mine since the tomatoes ran me ragged. I will be looking forward to learning how to do that in case I run out of room in my freezer...

I used to can beans and I didn't add salt or anything else. I seasonsed when I cooked them to eat.
It just occured to me when Mr. Rape gets the back porch done that I'll have a big cabinet that I can put jars of beans in. Oh boy. Wonder if Ronnie still has my canner in the attic. Dianna will you call and ask him for me?

Would love to post pictures! Not sure how to lol. Will have to get my good friend Sarah to show me how. How many not sure I now I got 8 quart jars and a lot of pints let's see didn't count them but around 100 pint jars
peaches are next when they come in the jam and peears. Salsa lots of things I want to get done just have to have the time to do it
