Are you talking around your shower, Tammy? That is the last caulking you mentioned. So I am confused. And the walls are cream? I think either color would look good but I kinda like the idea of black. Have you any other colors in there?

The walls are cream and the counter and tub surround are faux forest green marble. The tub and shower and sink are cream and the toliet is white. The floor is a white with light grey square outlines on linolium.

yes the caulking was around the shower. Everywhere else they used that plastic trim caulk. I don't care for it but since it is there I'm not going to remove it.

Then go with black or cream. The black will really set off the cream and green thing though.

But he couldn't tell the truth with a script in front of him.
If the choices are brown and black I'd go with black.

I am looking for contrast. It sounds like black is the way to do. That's actually a good thing because I already have black bath rugs and towels.

I am hoping this comes out looking as great as I hope. Cross your fingers for me. I'm not doing anymore today because the medication I take makes me sick and I'm beat. But with luck tomorrow.

No the heat hasn't helped at all. I should get a day or two of cool due to Earl but that's cooling it down the hard way. I hope that sucker stays out to sea.

Good, and hopefully anyone else who is a member here, and possibly in its path, stays safe.

Nice to have safely gotten through the first one of the season. Hopefully all the rest will be just as willing to stay off the coast.
Well I got the primer coat on the shower stall area. That's great. And I got a second coat on the panel adjacent to the shower and the post on the other side. That's a good start for the day. I don't want to push it and cause another back spasm so I'm going very slowly.

Put 2 drops of vanilla in your paint and your house won't smell like paint. Just heard that on HGTV.

who knew fixing things had so many glitches inherent in the process. The shed door I made...the trim came apart at the bottom. So I glued and then screwed it back together. Hopefully this time it will stay together. Then on the back I added two more 1 x 2's so that I can use my pole to keep it open. Also hopefully it will reinforce the door a little more. it seems wobbly.

It seems I fixed the wobble so I'm happy about that. And now the pole works to hold the door open. I'm liking that too.
