We went to Cracker Barrel tonight. I had the fried catfish, green beans, macaroni and cheese, and a salad...

And I had Chicken and Dumplings, green beans and fried apples. Told ya I didn't stick to my diet.. and they even had a low carb menu that I totally ignored.

Dinner for you sounds yummy, Dianna and Barb! I have never eaten at a Cracker Barrel.
Sarah, the taters were smushy before you cooked them?

Yeah, they were old potatoes and the person (aka Rachael) who helped me put away groceries on Friday put all the canned stuff on top of them!

It is the time of year for potatoes to go soft quickly. I buy smaller batches of them. And I do keep them in the fridge.
Tonight is a cheeseburger with a whole home grown tomato sliced on the side.

I can't keep potatoes in the ... umm... crap. the cold thing (all I can think of is the orange but I know it's not that...) anyway, they go bad in a week or two if I put them in there.
If I can get my act together, I'm going to put a recipe from tasty kitchen in the crockpot called Chipotle and Orange Pork Tacos.

Welcome to my world, Jessica. Sometimes I can't think of the right word but of the wrong one and my brain insists it's the right word but I know it's not. For instance, I was trying to think of "fridge" but my brain kept saying "orange." I also frequently will say something like "Put the cabinet in the towel" instead of put the towel in cabinet, and I also will switch around my letters, like "Get me the spaten from the kitchula." instead of spatula and kitchen. It's worse when I'm medicated, sick, or tired. I happen to be all 3 at the moment...

I was confused as well... thanks for straightening that out.
I think a simple dinner of pizza rolls tonight.

I like eating at cheesecake factory. Have you ever tried the chicken and biscuits. It's enough food for at least 2 people.
Since I'm not cooking now Johnny brought us Chick Filet and then I ate an ice cream sandwich. I can't stop eating.

You must be getting ready for a growth spurt.
Dianna is fixing us Jessica's french dip sandwiches.

The chipotle orange pork was pretty good. Adam loved it.
We've never eaten at Chick Filet, Sheri. Tried to once, and then we realized that the drive thru wasn't working 'cause they aren't open on Sunday's in Oklahoma.

sarah loo, they aren't open on sundays anywhere. that is a condition of the franchise. to have one you have to agree to abide by the sabbath and not work or work your employees. must work for them, they make a killing.

I have never had Chick-Fil-A either. Someday.
Sheri, this was the first time I have eaten at Cheesecake Factory. I had the Chicken Madeira which was excellent!! It was definitely enough for 2 people. James ate the leftovers for dinner tonight.

Barb cooked the entree tonight here and it was delicious.
She made a pork chop/rice casserole type dish. Simple and easy so that means I will be able to fix it for Jim next week, since he couldn't eat any tonight...

We had tacos and spanish rice. Right now I have meatballs and spaghetti sauce going for tomorrow. We are going to take dinner down to James' dad right after work. His mom is in Louisiana so all of the kids have been taking turns feeding dad.
