when you say wintersow are you talking about planting  in a cold frame outside and then transplanting in the spring?

Actually I'm thinking milk jugs with tops.  I haven't even thought of building a cold frame yet.

dodge gave me the idea of using old windows as a cold frame.  We have some of the ones that we took out of this old house that I could use.  Of course I haven't done it yet but might sooner or later.  Someone has a website that's dedicated to wintersowing.  I can't think of who.

Well it's a fall sow not a wintersow but I'm going to mention it here anyway lol.  I just got a bunch of magnolia seeds in a swap.  I cleaned, scarified and planted 6 of them.

They need to be sown fresh so the question is does anyone want the rest of them?  There are probably 20 left in the packet.

pm me your addresses and they are on the way.

Um I've got a list up over on garden web of the seeds I am looking for.  But if you have an overage of something I can always put it in a swap.  I'll leave that to you.

With a possible success rate of 25% I'll send you both about 10 how is that?
