You're welcome! Now that I've seen it I may have to learn it too! Its really pretty!
My friend at Crochetville wants to learn double ended crochet, aka croknit. I may have to learn that too. I can't die yet, I have too much crochet to learn to do!! :laugh1:

no, tammy, it is not.

here is my latest projects.  a baby hat and bootie set.  i couldn't stand doing them in solid black so i put red in the pompom on the hat and edged the "collar" of the shoes" with red.

booties

hat

together

the battery is there for size comparison.  it is a standard AA.

Very, very cute. And I like this one better than the other red and black hat. Both are sweet though.

it isn't that i can't stand it.  i couldn't stand the thought of solid black for a baby.  but that is the daddy's request.  so i compromised.  he gets his black, but i embellished so it isn't so dark.

yes, there is that too.  dark colors are harder to work. especially after dark. artificial light just doesn't show as well.

Somewhere you should explain that is has something do do with your son-in-law's alma mater and their colors.

oh, yeah, i guess i should.  he went to university of georgia.  georgia dawgs.  red/black with bits of white.  but he didn't want red/black.  just black.  i knew i could slide the red in there and get away with it :giggle:

Those turned out great!   I understand wanting football/sports colors... all of the babies in our family got orange and blue booties, hats, shirts, etc. for the Broncos.  It is not like the lil one will be wearing black all of the time.  And this is a great gift for them.

the booties and the mittens to match.  size is not relative, the picture sucks.

the clown in progress, just needs his "buttons" (pompoms on front) and a mouth.  oh, and the threads tucked in.  that is a standard tissue box he is up against for size reference

and, the blanket for cindy.
that is a 15 inch ruler against it.  so it is about 30 x whatever i get out of the yarn i have.  right now it is about 30x15, maybe a bit more.
