I'm think shrimp scampi and the olive-cheese bread via PW. I don't know that I'll get the bread made from scratch done in time though...

I had vaguely planned on pasta something tonight. But as the time drew nearer decided to bake some potatoes and have plenty of stuffing options; bacon, cheese, sour cream etc. I also cooked Brussels sprouts to go along side. It was good and I am stuffed now. Jonni liked it too. I think she misses my cooking in amongst the fast food and take out she eats most of.

We went to Cracker Barrel before we went grocery shopping. I had the meatloaf, green beans, mac and cheese, and a side salad. The meatloaf was terrible. I was afraid that it was undercooked. I used to love their meatloaf, but I will never order it again now...

I don't know, but it was really good a few years back and then I got a hold of a bad one. This is the first time I have eaten it since then and now I will never try it again...

Nope...
those are all gone.
For those not on FB... the other day Mikey came up to me and said... "Do you know what this week is?"
I told him, "No, what week is this?"
He said, "This is the week for the best dinners ever. Beef and potatoes are NOT the best dinners ever so can I have burritos?"
Had to laugh at that one. He ended up having the beef and potatoes and enjoyed them.

We had grilled cheese and tomato soup. When I think the house is cold, I make soup. It's what I do. Tomorrow shall be Tuscan Soup. It will be cold outside. I shall serve soup.

I don't make soups from scratch, but I bought several cans of good soup for my lunches this week. I am actually looking forward to them considering its supposed to be really cold the first half of the week.
