Here I sit trying to figure out what to do.  I have a bathroom cabinet that is fit for a 30 1/2 x 21 inch counter and sink.  The standard vanity top that I would like to have comes in either 31 x 19 or 31 x 22.  The 19 inch would not come out far enough to reach over the cabinet leaving a two inch gap.  The 22 in would cut right into the door trim.  I can't figure out what to do.  I suppose I should just wait until January and ask the guy that will do the work which will be easiest to deal with.

Yes, mobile homes and manufactured homes often come with their own measurements. Not standard 'home improvement' measurements. It makes for interesting remodeling problems to figure out. Especially if you are upgrading types of materials. Then also, builders have their own measurements.

Yes there are bestofour but they are not the vanity top style that I want.  They are formica counters with fiberglass sinks.    That isn't what I want.

Just an idea.  I was pricing granite to redo my kitchen and bathroom counters at some point in the future.  The pricing is not that bad.    get a piece of granite cut to fit your vanity and get an undermount sink.  That way when sink starts to look bad, just replace sink and keep countertop.  That's my plan..i have real hard water, lots of iron.  My bathroom sink looks horrible but the counter top looks great...unfortunately i have that all in one piece type vanity top, so it all has to be replaced.

That is a good idea.  Johnny's been talking about how cheap granite is right now too.

That is definitely a consideration.  I was just thinking that having someone come out and measure and cut a new counter would probably cost more than the entire vanity top.  That was only 79.00 plus 15.00 for the side splash back.

I am thinking that if you want quality that fits, that is going to be the way to go.

Contact a remanufactor home builder and see if they can shoot some ideas your ways, or tell them what you are wanting to do... they might be able to help in some form or fashion.  dunno

My sister in law did her counter top with the granite paint kit for countertops. They turned out beautiful and looks just like granite. Simple to do project. You can watch the video and order the kits on this site. gianigranite.com/learnhow.html

Says it works on any laminate or wood top.  Your vanity is laminate.
