What have I gotten myself into?

WWW
« on: Dec 11, 2010, 07:53:19 PM »

Was a bit warmer here today with a high of 45.  It's about 43 now with a low forecast for 38 tonight.  It's been drizzling rain all day but I don't know how much we have because my rain gauge decided to quick working.  I've got a new weather station on my Christmas list.

We're supposed to get rain early morning followed by much colder temps and back down to freezing temps at night.

It's 35 here today and raining lightly.  Just enough to give the compost pile a nice watering.  It was getting alittle dry.

Waiting for #3 50 year flood. Rain mixed with snow and already too full from the Dec and Oct floods, streams.

Supposed to see 75* here today. I believe it because it is 66* outside right now at 5:30 am. But it is to cool down to normal this week with some rain by weeks end.

I woke at 3 a.m. to pouring rain. Up again at 7 a.m. rain had stopped. 60°. They said it would be like that, and that will be our high for the day. The temps are supposed to drop all day and I believe the as it has dropped 5° in an hour. Back to freezing temps the nest few nights, then Thurs & Fri back to almost 70. Talk about yo yo temps

Keep well, Barb. It is hard to not catch things in weather like that.

Thanks, and I'm a rather sickly person to start with. My own fault though, I won't let them do sinus surgery.

Still raining here.  Northern towns got hit harder than we did as the system high was stalled over us keeping us pretty dry compared to other place.

Our flood warnings got put out to overnight Sunday into Monday.  About the same heights on the rivers as before.

barb, i had the sinus surgery and it helps for a few years, then it gets back to irritating again.  i can't say as bad or worse than before, but it isn't a cure-all that is for sure.

And I'm afraid of having surgery. Last time I had one, I had a stroke.

Eh, most drs. won't do surgery on me for the same reason. And it wasn't last surgery, it was the one before. The last surgery was to fix a blocked artery...

The temps never did drop like they said it would. It didn't rise, dropped some but it is currently 48 at 7:40. I'm wondering if it really is going to freeze here tonight. Hoping that front didn't dip as far as they expected.

Windy here.  Temp is 34 with a wind chill of 27 right now.  The wind is really howling out there tonight.  Had to turn the pool pump back on so it don't freeze.
