New Posts or Active topics today.

Not sure how to say this question.

In your section of Beyond The Spirits,  Is it possible to have at the top of your page where ( .Home -Forum _ help are) ...Add Active topics or New Posts, put on by all members.. On that section.  Quick way to jump into the latest conversation with out hunting thru them all to see who was here, for what.
Easy way to jump into conversations.. And to know who posted .

Is it possible/

Barb, at the top of the page you shoud see a link that says "show unread posts since last visit" right next to your name. That should get you what you're looking for.

That is not what I am looking for.
I want to see what the new things are from all people , not just replies to me. I never get any posts there.

barb, if you go to the bottom of the forum list page, it lists the last 10 posts.  or you can click at the top either new unread posts or new replies to you.  those come up with a different list.

Those are the only ways I know how to navigate this forum, Dodge. It enables me to read every post made every day.

There are two lines there... one says "show new replies to my posts". The other one says "show unread posts since last visit". If that shows no posts, then another link (but not exactly the same spot) will say "show ALL unread posts", or something along those lines. If you get nothing after clicking that, then you've read everything.

As Tina stated, If you click on "forum", then scroll to the bottom of the page, you will find the last ten or so posts on the board, who posted them, and in what thread they posted them. Just click on it and it will take you to that post.

Barb, the active topics of the day are the ones that you see at the bottom of the page under recent topics. We are using a different software than what you are accustomed to at the other place...

There are a number of ways to do what you are asking.  The two links right beside your avatar at the top of the page:

Show unread posts since last visit. - will do just what it says, show every unread post since you were here last.  This includes any new ones that folks posted while you were gone.

Show new replies to your posts. - will show topics that you have posted in and other members have replied to since you did.

Additionally once you are logged in you can click on the Forum button and the index page will show you if there are unread topics in each category.  Once you click on the category, you will see a graphic beside each topic that has a new reply since you logged in last.

Hope this helps but if it don't then you may want to explain a bit more in depth what you are asking.

Dianna showed me what you were talking about.  Active links on some other forum software is basically the exact same thing as the links I pointed out as well as some of the other members referred to.

Try the links.  It doesn't take long to get used to how this software works.
