An inch of snow and the car is at the bottom of the drive.  It's a good thing I don't have anywhere to go.

Not nearly cold enough here and it is sunny.  Not the morning I was hoping for but it sure is nice outside.

Ok I am loving the 10 day extended forecast... hope it holds true or gets "worse" as in more snow.

I was hoping it'd warm enough to open the house up. Just not quite there.

At 10:30 this morning it was 32° with a wind chill of 27°.  It's up to 37° now with the sun shining.  We are supposed to get a wintery mix sometime later tonight so they are saying the morning commute tomorrow may be tough.   Our company put out a memo on Friday to watch the local TV station for news about whether we will start operations at normal time or delayed.

I'm hoping we don't get much of anything.

Our wintry mix hasn't even started yet, but the girls' school district has already closed the schools for tomorrow. What we are hearing on the news is that it is not going to be good... freezin

Probably not Dianna, When the precipitation first started here, I could have sworn I saw snow flurries, and the news just confirmed it "in some areas in Bay County". But its all rain now. And yea, our news says y'all are going to get hit hard too, as well as Jenn.

How did you know that I was thinking about building a fire and crawling into it, Jessica?

37 and dropping out there.  the marker that they are using to define where the rain will be and where the "wintery mix" will be is about 8 miles or more due east of me.  they are expecting the farther inland you are, the worse it will be.  so, i'm in for it, i guess.  ugh.

They have said we should only see flurries and lots of sleet and freezing rain at the house here.  In Sumter where I work they are saying 3 to 4 inches of snow on top of the freezing rain.  Lots of schools and such have already announced closings.  I dread the drive in the morning but the one tomorrow evening may be even worse.
