My store brand chili is excellent and beats anything I've ever made from scratch.

"Wolf Brand" Authentic Texas recipe. It has peppers, onion, and chunks of tomato in it and it's just spicy enough without being so too spicy (I don't like it too hot, spice wise.)

What's the diet plan? I lost weight before with low carb when I was first diagnosed diabetic. But my sugars are now controlled and I'm finding that they go too low when I try to do low carb. And I need to loose the weight.

We stopped at Ruby Tuesdays to meet up with Jim's sister and her family. We had baby back ribs. I had a salad, rice pilaf, white cheddar mashed potatoes...

Last night I made hunter steak with the flank steak. It was marvelous. I'll be having it again tonight. I love left overs. Maybe I'll even catch up with the dishes.

I made a cheesecake for dessert. That's really all I care about. DInner is Chicken Texas Style (a butterflied breast filled with jalapenos and cheese, rolled up, and wrapped in bacon) and THE bread, from PW. I planned on baking the bread and chicken at the same time but, unfortunately, there is a 100 temperature difference. So the bread will be very late but that's okay.

Sarah, I made THE Bread one day. It is tasty but not something we will have too often because that is a lot of butter. Hope you enjoyed your dinner. What kind of cheesecake?
We were at a birthday party this afternoon and ate there. I'm sure we will have a little snack before bed but not a meal.
