No this is not a picture of my car lol.

This is the future home of my zen garden.  I know right now it looks like weeds, old branches, blackberry bushes, and trees trying to grow back where I cut them down.  But, this really is the future home of the zen garden.

Are you doing an zen gardening?  Or any Asian gardens?

It's one of the final beds that I'll make.  It is underneath the power lines.  I'm putting it there so the electric company doesn't have to come down and make a mess every couple of years clearing out the brush in that area.

We will see.  They seem to like to find ways to distroy things.  The first year they got the ditch bed and the rear window on the car.  Then this year they got the ditch bed, left a mess in the upper corner of the bed leaving all the branches they were suppose to haul away.

Along with cleaning up the area I'll need to build a taller barrier at the bottom end to keep the sand in place then lay down a plastic sheeting with an anti-weed coating.  After that I plan to add a buddha, a bench, and a asian concrete lantern.

duh, once the zen garden is completed do you think you'll be able to sit in it?  I can't imagine you sitting peacfully in a tranquile state.  You're mind is always working and you go a mile a minute all the time.  Buddah may throw you out. Halo

Well I can sit there between tasks like I do on the garden bench.  And he won't through me out as long as I'm raking the sand into feun shui patterns.  Or at least that's the plan.

Anyway I need to get more sun light.  I evidently have a bad Vitamin D deficiency along with everything else.  I'll just take a book out there to enjoy.

Do you take Vitamin D? You might want to ask your Dr about that.

Sometimes you don't absorb enough to manufacture Vit D on your own. It isn't working right. Taking the meds is the best way when that is the case.
