Do you break the flowers off of a potato plant when they start to bloom?  I can not remember.

Keep the flowers on and enjoy them. Popping them off doesn't seem to affect the yield.

I hope your potatoes do better than mine.  The hot weather that we have already had has taken a toll on them.  They don't like the 90+ temps that we have already had for a few days.

I must not have planted mine deeply enough because we've already had to hill them 3 times and Johnny said after the rain last night that today that they are 12 inches taller than yesterday.  I don't think there's enough dirt left to keep this up.
